Amak Swan
Completely new bridge installation - retrofit on M/T Amak Swan
The Oil tanker M/T Amak Swan, owned by Uni-Tankers, was dry-docking in Turkey in autumn 2013 for a complete upgrade including replacement of the ships bridge.
NAVTEAM worked closely with Uni-Tankers designing the new bridge consoles and delivered a complete navigation and communication package including new technology JRC Solid State Radar, DGPS receiver, Doppler speed log, Gyro, Autopilot, GPS compas, Echo sounder, Course recorder, Wind sensor, a complete GMDSS package and a Iridium OpenPort and Citadel solution.
The entire package was installed by NAVTEAM technicians at the Besiktas shipyard in Turkey to the crew and company's full satifaction.
