Dear customers, partners, friends, and colleagues within the marine business, 
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our founder and CEO, Jens R. Byrdal, who left us this past weekend at far too young an age. 
Jens was not only the visionary mind behind Navteam—he was our captain, our guiding force, and we will miss him immensely. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Jens’ family during this incredibly difficult time. 
While we mourn, we also want to reassure our customers and partners that Navteam will continue forward, all men on deck. In honor of Jens’ legacy, we will carry on steering the vessel he built, guided by the values, spirit, and dedication he embodied every single day of his working life.
Jens’ memory will remain a lasting inspiration to all of us.
