NAVTEAM congratulates the crew of M/T Lady Shana with their new JRC navigation and communication equipment upgrade installed last week at Lindø Shipyard.

The LPG tanker Lady Shana, owned by Danish owner Ultragas and managed by
Star Management Associates, Tokyo Japan, was serviced by a team of dedicated NAVTEAM service engineers.

They installed a complete navigation and communication package including JRC X- and S-band ARPA radars, GPS navigator, VHF radio, Navtex receiver, AIS and fuel saving upgrade of vessels Tokyo Keiki autopilot and gyro system.

The upgrade was carried out to prepare the vessel for many more years of service.

The JRC radars replaced were from the JMA-7000 series which has served the vessel since it was delivered from the newbuilding yard more than 13 years ago. This is a heavy proof for the JRC reliability.
